The Painted Lady On Gene Kelly Street a play
A Play. (How far along? —11 pages) . . .The three Fermi Sisters—hit hard by a national recession—are forced to move back home to Pittsburgh — to the large, decaying, Painted Lady — the house of their parents, Angela and Vincent Fermi. Vincent, professor of violin at the Internationally famous 3-Rivers Arts Center, and a gentle man, has suddenly turned violent and attacked the chairman of his Music department with his violin. Elegant mother Angela has also newly rented out the attic apartment to a lodger—a charismatic, handsome young foreigner, Anton—that the sisters, and the repressed Angela, get the hots for.
